Your room, translated into colour

Start with what is already there.

Use a room photo or choose the colours yourself. Nothing is uploaded, saved or added to a profile.

1. Choose a starting point

Quick starting palettes

2. Refine your palette

Edit any colour, or switch one off if it came from a lamp, window or another part of the photograph you do not want to match.

3. How should the art relate?

Colour is a starting point. Camera light, screens, paper and ink can all shift the final appearance.

Matched from 110 real works

Art that can live with the room.

Eight balanced starting points, with no more than two works by one artist.

What the tool is doing

A visual relationship, not a decorating verdict.

The finder compares colours in a perceptual colour space, then keeps the result varied across artists. It never invents a mood, style or personality label from the image.

01

Read only the colours

Your room photo is reduced to a small local colour sample. The original image never becomes catalogue data.

02

Choose the relationship

Harmonise follows the room, Balanced shares a base and adds contrast, and Stand out seeks a focal point.

03

Continue with a real work

Every result has a live print path, a free wallpaper and a route into the wall-size calculator.

Private by design

Your room is not our dataset.

Choosing a photo does not send the file to GeMarkt. The browser decodes it, makes a tiny working sample and extracts the palette on your device. The photo, file name, pixel values and exact colours are not placed in a URL, browser storage or a measurement event.

We count only broad tool use and public result-link actions under our existing cookie-free measurement policy. You can read the full privacy notice.

Before you choose

Questions about colour and privacy

Does GeMarkt upload my room photo?

No. The selected image is decoded, reduced and analysed in your browser. The photo, file name and extracted colours are not uploaded, stored or added to measurement events.

Is a palette match the same as an exact colour match?

No. Camera light, white balance, screens, paper and ink can all shift colour. The results are visual starting points for harmonising, balanced or contrasting relationships.

Can I change the colours found in a photo?

Yes. Every extracted colour can be edited or switched off before matching, which helps remove a temporary object, a bright window or another unwanted part of the image.

Can I buy or try the matched artworks?

Yes. Results come only from artworks with a live print listing and a free GeMarkt wallpaper. You can also take any result to the wall art size calculator before choosing a size.
