Who we are

GeMarkt is an independent studio restoring public-domain artworks for print and digital sale, built and run by its founder, Hasan Oğuz Erkan. There is currently no registered company behind it; if that changes, this page will name the entity.

This website

gemarkt.com is informational. Nothing is sold here, no account can be created here, and nothing you read here is an offer to contract. You are welcome to read it, quote it with attribution, and link to it.

Buying from us

Our products are sold through our Etsy storefronts — TheCapitalOfArt, LumenArtee, and frofyprint. Each purchase is governed by Etsy's terms and by the individual shop's policies, which are published on the shop page. Refunds, shipping, delivery times, and disputes are handled there, not here. If this site and a shop policy disagree, the shop policy is the one that binds.

What belongs to whom

The artworks we reproduce are in the public domain and belong to everyone. Our restoration work, print preparation, photography, mockups, written descriptions, this website's text and design, and the software behind all of it are our own and are not licensed for reuse. Accuracy

We try hard to make the figures on this site true, and we say where each one comes from. They are counts taken on a stated date, not guarantees, and they move. If you find something on this site that is wrong, we would genuinely like to know.

Links out

This site links to Etsy and to public art archives. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.

Liability

This site is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be available or error-free, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the last change.
